This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese is produced only when winemaker Guido De Santi of this 100% Biodynamic, dry farmed winery decides the vintage conditions warrant it (example-1989,1998 and 2002 were skipped). The Querciabella Camartina wine is deep ruby colored with plummy aromas intermingled with black pepper and grilled meats. On the palate notes of dark cherry and spice are carried by smooth tannins, bright acidity and a long finish. Airing the Querciabella Camartina wine for a minimum of 2 hours is a must as it will continue to evolve beautifully. $104 Retail. Drink 2010 -2019.
